Zera Bellamy Mullendore passed away surrounded by the love of family on May 10, 2026, at 98 years old. She was born in Etowah County on October 25, 1927. Zera was married to her beloved husband, Tommy Mullendore, and will be remembered for her kind heart, quiet strength, and the love she shared with those closest to her.

She was preceded in death by her spouse, Tommy Mullendore; her brothers, Willie Bellamy, Clifford Bellamy, R.L. Bellamy, Horace Bellamy, and Russell Bellamy; her parents, Isaac and Ollie Bellamy; and her beloved niece, Barbara Bellamy Turner.

She is survived by her beloved niece, Deborah Bellamy (Denson) Ragsdale, and her daughters, Kayla Ragsdale Prater and Lori Ragsdale Bendall. She also leaves behind many great-great-nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved: Mason, Morgan, Milean, Madeleine, and Samuel. She is also survived by her nephews, Clay Bellamy and Curtis “Bud” Bellamy.

Cherished memories and her lasting impact will remain with all who knew and loved her. The family appreciates the thoughts, prayers, and support during this difficult time.

A private family service will be held to honor and celebrate Zera’s life.
