Funeral services will be 11 am Wednesday, August 3,2022 at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Gladys Yvonne Kirkpatrick Bomar, Phillips age 77, of Attalla, who died Saturday July 30,2022. Brother Tommy Ferguson will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Yvonne will be remembered as a Christian first, and as a nurse for almost 40 years, at East Gadsden Clinic. She was a caring person who wanted to help and do for others. Loved her church and was a longtime member of Goodyear Heights Baptist Church. Loved music and family. She was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by husbands William Bomar Jr. and Ronald Phillips. Parents C.J. and Virginia Kirkpatrick and brothers James and David Kirkpatrick.

She is survived by her son Calvin(Anna)Bomar, granddaughter Rowan Bomar and sister Dianne Kirkpatrick Moore.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests Memorials to Goodyear Heights Baptist Church building fund or to your favorite charity.

Special thanks to her church family whose prayers were so appreciated, Dr. Steve Sanders, Nurse Janice Robinson and her Cherry Creek Retirement Village family and staff.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 am until the time of service.
