Obituary

: BROWN Anniston - Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at First Baptist Church of
Saks for Willie Brown, 81, of Anniston, who died on Monday, September 16, 2013. Dr. Randy Postell will officiate.
Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct. Mr. Brown served as a
Deacon of First Baptist Church of Saks and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He
retired from Tape Craft with over 40 years of service. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend to
all and will be dearly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Floyd and Mary Brown and nine
siblings. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Nellie Brown; daughters, Janet (Rodney) Clark and Michele (Stephen)
Horton; grandchildren, Dustin (Lauren) Clark, Amber Clark, Matthew Horton and Seth Horton; great-grandchild, Emma
James Clark. Pallbearers will be friends and family. Honorary pallbearers are the Kingsmen Sunday School Class at
the First Baptist Church of Saks. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Saks
Building Fund. Special thanks to his church family for being there when he needed them. The family will receive friends
from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Saks.
