Funeral services will be 2 pm Friday, September 23,2022, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. William "Red" "Tom" "Bill" Thompson, age 91, of Boaz, who died Wednesday September 21,2022. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Mr. Thompson will be remembered for being able to fix anything, as he said "A jack of all trades and a master of none" He was a proud Retired Air Force Veteran, who has  always had a great love for planes and a Ham Radio Operator # K4REDD. After retiring to Boaz he owned and operated Albertville Office Machines. He found the love of his life Susanne, while serving in England. He was a great husband, father, grandfather ,brother and friend and will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by parents Claud and Ola B Thompson, and brother James and sister Katie. He is survived by wife of 64 years Susanne, daughters, Belinda Davis, Karen (Chuck) Mandy, Tina(Tim) Williams, grandsons Trey Williams and Parker Mandy, great granddaughter Linore, sisters Linda and Claudia and a host of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, from 1 pm until the time of service.
