William Bryan Stone, of Rainbow City, went Home to be with his Savior and Lord, Tuesday, December 10, 2018.  Bryan's life will be celebrated Wednesday, December 12, at White Springs Baptist Church, Rainbow City, AL, 1:00 PM.

Mr. Stone is survived by his wife of over 58 years, Ann Cunningham Stone.  His sons, William Bryan, (Bill) Stone, II, (Marian), and John Philip Stone.  Grandson, William Bryan (Trey) Stone, III; his God given grand-children, Adrian (Richard) Scales and Brant (Katie) Haynie; and their children, Charlie and Cooper Scales, and Ellis, Eddy and Finn Haynie. Also, his sisters, Marcelle Bearden and Judy Laverty.  Sister-in-law, Nancy (Bobby) Cosby, along with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded to Heaven by his parents, Henry and Wilma Stone, Parents-in-law John and Lucille Cunningham, and by his daughter-in-law, Lisa K. Stone.

Bryan served his church, White Springs Baptist as a Deacon, and as a Gideon, his country in the U.S. Army in Germany, and his community via:  Rainbow City as a Councilman, Planning Commission and Water Board, Cedar Bend Lodge as Grand Master, Zamora Shrine.  He was retired from Goodyear, and a second career, as an educator, leader and administrator at Gadsden State Community College.  He indeed, was a servant, and a servant leader.

He will be honored by his pallbearers, the Deacons of White Springs Baptist Church, and all his special friends.

The family will receive friends and family at White Springs Baptist Church, Wednesday, December 12, 11:00 AM until time of the service.
