Funeral services will be Wednesday 12 pm, February 9, 2022, pm, at Crestwood Chapel for Mr. William "Duane" Phipps, age 61, of Gadsden, who died Saturday February 5, 2022. Tommy Marshall and Dan  Maddox will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Duane will be remembered for his loving sense of humor, a Christian and longtime member of Tabernacle Church, working on the farm and anything Tennessee Volunteers especially football. He was a loving  brother, uncle, and friend and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by parents Billy and Freida Phipps and brother Rick Phipps.

He is survived by brother Billy Phipps, nephew Bradlee (Cristen) Phipps, niece Amber Phipps, and great nieces and nephews, who were so special to him Zoey, Carter, Nicholas, Olivia, Briella and Addylynn.

Pallbearers will be Jason Durham, Terry Workman, Jon Wade, Bradlee Phipps, Billy Thacker and Billy Phipps.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 am until the time of service.
