Funeral service will be at 3pm Sunday, September 22 at Crestwood
Chapel for W.W. Smith age 78, of Glencoe, who died Tuesday, September
17, 2013. Burial will be at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Crestwood
Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.

Mr. Smith was known as "Pat" or "Papa" to everyone, He was a native of
Calhoun County and a long time resident of Etowah County. He had
worked many years as a truck driver and a diesel mechanic. He was an
animal lover and had rescued many strays.

He is preceded in death by his wife Ima Jean Kelley Smith and his
parents Roy D. and Ola Smith.

He is survived by his children: Danny Smith, Patricia (David) Peak,
Regina (Earnest) Kennedy, and Dwayne (Kim) Smith; grandchildren
Cameron McDonald, Daniel McDonald, Jenny Kennedy, Dustin Kennedy,
Dawson Smith, and Michael Smith; great grandchildren Adilynn and
Andrew McDonald; and brother Lee Roy (Frankie Ann) Smith.

Family and Friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1pm until the
hour of service on Sunday.
