William J. (Jack) Campbell, 82, died October 25, 2013 at his residence
in Huntsville. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 27 from 1-3
p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home in Gadsden, Al followed by a
graveside service at Crestwood Cemetery with Keith Hudson, Pastor
First Baptist Church of Glencoe, officiating.

Mr. Campbell was born in Southside, Alabama to Ezra A. and Mary Irene
Harp Campbell in 1931. He and his wife of 61 years, Carolyn Marker
Campbell, are members of First Baptist Church of Glencoe and lived in
Glencoe until moving to Huntsville in 2011. Jack was a United States
Army veteran and worked for Moody Engineering Company for 43 years,
retiring as the VP-Southwestern Area in 1995.

Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by his parents and sister Billie
Dean Smith and brother-in-law, Forney E. Smith.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn, and two nephews: Glenn
W. Smith (Deborah), and Perry Marker (Louise). Three great nephews:
Alan Marker, Lee Marker, Jeffery C. Smith, and a great niece, Jamie
Smith Miller. He was also dearly loved by 8 great-great nephews and
nieces.
