Wanda Tibbetts, age 72, of Anniston Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on November 10, 2024. A visitation will be held at Fire City Church Friday, November 15th, 2024, from 10 to 11 a.m. with the service directly following at 11. Paul Goodwin will officiate.

Wanda will be remembered as an adventurous spirit, ready for anything (after much thinking). She loved traveling, old movies, the beach, Hawaii, dancing, taking pictures of everything, and spoiling her beloved Huskies, Celsius and Zeus. She had a magnetic, determined personality. She was always giving, and had endless compassion for others. If there is antiquing in heaven, she is bargaining as we speak. She was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

Preceded in death by her Father Chester Gibson.

Survived by her Mother Mary Nell Sparks, her children Charles (Michelle) York, Angela (Neal) Stillman, Justin Tibbetts, her grandchildren Amanda, Jaden, Kyle, Ian, Aaron, Alyvia, Sara, Peter and Marian, her siblings, Linda Green, Judy (Curtis) Banks, Mary Ann (Bob) Couch, Houston Gibson, Jerry Gibson, and a large extended family and many close friends. The family will receive friends at the church Friday from 10 am and for the service at 11. Flowers may be sent to Fire city Church, 461 Choccolocco Rd, Anniston Al, 36207.
