Wanda D. Allison, 81, of Oxford, AL passed away on 5/15/12. Crestwood Funeral Home of Gadsden, AL is in charge.
Interment was on Saturday, 5/19/12 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Bremen, GA.
She is preceded in death by her son, Greg Allison, 2 sisters (Ival Howell and Odena Wright) and 1 brother (W. A. Dickerson). Before retirement, Ms. Allison worked for the State of Alabama Hardy Welcome Center as a receptionist. She was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling, horseback riding, and was a chocolate connoisseur. She also loved all the family's pets.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Donda Goggins (husband Roy) and Lynne Nabors (husband Richard); grandchildren: Eric Smith (wife Christine), Wendy Pirkle (husband Monte), Corey Nabors (wife Amy), Casie England (husband Galean), and Justin Goggins; great-grandchildren: Aaron Smith, Preston Jones, Evan Goggins, and Asher Nabors.
