Graveside services will be at 3 PM Saturday, March 7, 2009 at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery for Mrs. Virginia "Bugs" Bloodworth Leach, age 81, of Glencoe, who died on Tuesday, March 3, 2009. Rev. Jerry Keeling will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Leach was a member of East Gadsden Cumberland Presbyterian Church. She lived in Chino, California for fifty years and then she moved back home to Alabama about five years ago.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Bonnell Bloodworth and Kathleen Smith Bloodworth; brother: Bonnell Bloodworth.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Clarence "Hoss" Leach; daughter: Beverly (Tony) Rinauro, South Carolina; sons: Walt (Faye) Leach and Stanley (Colleen) Leach both of California; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Marion Hicks, Birmingham and Sherlene Neely, Georgia; a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2pm to 3pm Saturday at the funeral home.
