Tuwona Chambers, age 63, passed away on December 13th, 2023. Funeral services will be held at Riverbend Baptist church in Horton's Bend on Friday, December 22nd  from 12-2 p.m.
Tuwona will be remembered as a kind and loving person who adored her grandkids. She loved cooking and made cakes for friends and family, her fried pies were loved and enjoyed by all who had them. Scaring folks was her call to fame, look behind the doors. She loved animals,her kids and grandkids were her world. She was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Preceded in death by her parents Luther and Bobbie Gilbert , special friend Don and Virginia Wade; Brother Bruce Gilbert
Survived by her loving husband of 26 years Tommy Chambers; son Bucky (Katrina) Powers' daughter Whitney (Brayden) Holman; Grandkids Braxton, Haley, Paisley, Oakley ; sister Deborah Powers and chosen daughter Brandy (Kevin) Staton; nephew Jason, Ashleigh and Kimberly and many extended family members
