Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, December 22nd, 2014, at Crestwood Chapel for Thomas Patrick "Pat" Lay, 84, of Glencoe, who passed away Friday, December 19th, 2014. Bro. Jackie Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of directing services.
Mr. Lay was born and raised in Glencoe, where he lived most of his life. He served two terms of military service; after serving in the Navy, he served in the Army during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Vallie Sue.
He is survived by his sisters, Sadie Hennigan of Decatur, IL and Nettie Gore of Rainbow City; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Cody Walker, Andy Walker, Leshawn Walker, Jon Lambert, Chris Hardeman, Keith Lay, Terry Lay, and John Bright.
Honorary pallbearers are Ben Gore and Wilburn Hunkapillar.

The family will accept friends from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.
