Funeral services were at 1 PM, Monday, February 2nd, 2015, at Crestwood Chapel for Thomas P. "Jack" Pruitt, 84, of Glencoe, who passed away Thursday, January 29th, 2015. Harold Coe officiated. Burial followed at Rainbow Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Pruitt was born and raised and a lifelong resident of Glencoe. He was an avid turkey hunter and a skilled archer. Jack served the armed forces in the Marines, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a loving father who will be dearly missed, and a devoted husband of 57 years to his wife, Betty J. Pruitt, whom he has joined again.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Betty J. Pruitt; parents, Charles and Erma L. Pruitt; and sister, Betty Joe Booker.
He is survived by his sons, Maury (Kaye) Moseley, Ralph (Rita) Moseley, and Mike (Angel) Pruitt; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
