Obituary for Mr. Terry Tucker

Funeral services for Mr. Terry Tucker, age 67, of Gadsden, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Crestwood Chapel, with Daniel Woodcock officiating. Burial will follow in Crestwood Cemetery.

Terry will be remembered first and foremost as a faithful Christian, and then for his love of fishing—fishing, and more fishing. He was an avid Alabama football fan and a devoted grandfather extraordinaire, who loved his grandchildren dearly. Terry had a generous heart and was always willing to lend a helping hand—whether fixing, repairing, or assisting wherever he was needed. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, affectionately known as "The Coosa River Legend," and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, E.V. and Mary Tucker.

He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Marian Tucker; daughter, Lynda (James Michael) Dillard; grandchildren, Rain Barron,( Dalton Cook), Blain Barron, Kayleb Dillard, Aubrey Trotier, and Kadence Barron; brother, Larry Tucker; and his chosen family, B.J. (Samantha) Barron, along with numerous friends and fishing buddies.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Pro Health Hospice, his Cornerstone Church family, and his good friend Jeremy Green for their care and support.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m.
