Terry Matthews age 59 of Gadsden died Monday August 23, 2021. Burial took Place in Crestwood Cemetery. Due to covid there will be no services at this time. A memorial may be added at a later date.

Terry was preceded in death by parents James "Jim" Matthews , mother Clovis Matthews and brother James Mathews.

Terry will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, loved to make you laugh and a little bit of a prankster, was an accomplished chess player, Eagle Scout and coin collector. Terry was excited about becoming a grandfather for the first time, he will still be with us in spirit.

He is survived by wife of 32 years Judy, children Jonathon Matthews and Hannah (Chris) Weaver, his faithful canine Bella who was more family then pet ,and a large extended family.
