Terry F. Gilmore, age 89, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026. Crestwood Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of arrangements.

Terry was a devoted Christian who loved his Lord and Savior. He was a member of North Glencoe Baptist Church and a longtime resident of the Glencoe community. He was a beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was dearly loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Marie Gilmore; his brothers, "Bo" and Jimmy Gilmore; and his wife of 58 years, Linda M. Gilmore.

He is survived by his daughters, Stacey (Jeff) Barber and Shana Massey; his grandchildren, Tyler Barber, Heather (Landon) Montgomery, Jamie Langley, Jessica (Roy) Wise, and Neal (Jessica) Massey; and his great-grandchildren, Garrett, Harley, Connor, Jaida, Kinlee, Levi, Haylen, Lukas, Wren, and Sage. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to extend special thanks to Riverview Regional Medical Center and Amedisys Hospice. A special thank you to the 6th Floor staff, including Traci Norris, RN, and Savannah Daily, RN, for their compassionate care.
