Funeral services will be at noon Wednesday at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mrs. Sula Spinks, 95, Hokes Bluff, who died Sunday, June 2, 2013. The Rev. Daryl Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Spinks was a charter member of Calvary Baptist Church in East Gadsden. She retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with almost 40 years of service.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She loved her church family and traveling the world. She will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her son, Lamar Stott; granddaughters, Teresa (Ron) Dalton and Rachel Abernathy; great-grandchildren, Tiffany (Will) Wagnon, Ty Hunt, Chandler Pritchett, Brooke Maltbie and Faith Abernathy; great-great grandchildren, Madison Wagnon and Reese Wagnon.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to her caregivers and to the staff of Alacare Hospice.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until noon Wednesday at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home
