Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday at Crestwood Cemetery for Mrs. Shirley Kasten, age 82, of Glencoe, who passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025.

Toni will be remembered for her feisty spirit—there was never a dull moment with her. She spoke her mind, and you always knew exactly where you stood. She loved spending time at Island View Casino, playing cards with the "Big Boys," who cherished her outspoken humor and quick wit.

Toni was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother and friend to many. Her love and laughter will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Ray, and by her husbands: William McCaleb, Samuel Ray, and Donald Kasten.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Roberts; sons, John (Sharon) Ray and Samuel (Kelly) Ray; grandchildren, Jeremy Roberts and family, Mike Roberts and family, Jason (Gena) Roberts, and Shawn Ray; great-grandchildren, Katlyn (Tanner) Barron, Jayden Barron, and Jeremiah Roberts; and great-great-grandchild, Leighton Barron.

The family offers special thanks to Morgan Justice, Robin Diggs, and the caring staff of Adoration Hospice.
