Graveside services for Sara Thomas Kimberley will be held at Crestwood Cemetery Saturday,
October 12, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Rev. John T. Harrell will officiate.

Sara passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 21", 2024. She was 93 years old. Sara was
born and raised in Etowah County, Alabama, and was a 1948 graduate of Emma Sansom High
School. She was a longtime member of 12th St. Baptist Church.

Sara was preceded in death by her mother Myrtle Thomas Larner, father James Thomas, and
husband of 61 years, Richard H. Kimberley. Left to cherish her memory are sons Richard Mark
Kimberley (Elaine} of Houston, TX and David Alan Kimberley (Cynthia) of Northport, AL. Also, her
grandchildren, Kaitlyn Kimberley Reese (Alex) and Andrew Allen Kimberley (Addison). There are
great grandchildren Catyn, Sutton, and Cohen Reese, Aiden and Ava Kimberley; sister-in-law Pat
Waldrop and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Oak Landing Assisted Living, Crimson Village Assisted Living, and
Heritage Nursing Care for their wonderful care. A special thank you goes to Jackie Boyd,
Tuscaloosa, AL for her caregiving and friendship to Sara.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Stroke Association and the American
Cancer Society.
