Funeral services will be 12 pm Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Ruth Parker Farrington, age 98, of Lexington South Carolina, formerly Gadsden, who died Thursday May 19,2022. Reverend Jason Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

She was born and raised in Alabama where she lived till the age of 90, and then moved to Lexington South Carolina. She loved sewing, and upholstery work. In her earlier years she taught classes at Wallace Community College for upholstery.

She is preceded in death by husband Bill Farrington, son Mark Farrington and great grandson Logan Alvis.

She is survived by daughter Linda Sewell, her grand and great grandchildren.

The family will accept friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11 am until the time of service.
