Graveside service will be at 3 p.m., Wednesday November 4, 2009, at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery for Rush E. Kloster, 96, Gadsden, who died November 1, 2009. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home is in charge.
He was retired from the U.S. Army as a Major with 20 years of civil service. He was a member of the local V.F.W.8600.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Denson Kloster, and his son Mark John Kloster.
He is survived by his grandchildren; Heather (Steve) Kloster Hess and Jennifer Robin Kloster, brother; Lynn Kloster, Chicago, sister; Mildred Kyrth, Denver, and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Attalla Health Care for the love and consideration during Rush's stay with them.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, November 4, 2009, from 1-3 p.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home.
