Funeral services will be at 12 pm Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Ruby Lee (Jennings) Smith, 92, Glencoe, who died Wednesday, May 5, 2021. The Rev. Mark Gidley will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct. Ruby was a beloved mother and grandmother. She was a member of Faith Worship Center in Glencoe. She loved the Lord and her family with her whole heart.Ruby loved working outside in her yard and was very proud of her flowers, especially her rose bushes and native azaleas. She also loved to sit on the porch and visit with friends and family. She shared a very special bond with her daughter, Sherri. Where you found one, you often found the other.She was preceded in death by her husbands, Junior Smith and Oliver Smith; parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. Jennings; sons, Jimmy Smith and Rickey Smith; grandson, Rance Young; and sisters, Pauline Smith and Edna Goode.She is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Randy) Young; grandchildren, Shelley Rowell, Joey (Leah) Smith, Jennifer (Justin) Croft, Jessica (Chris) Simmons, Miranda (Seth) Hannah, and Amanda (Chris) Hindsman; great grandchildren, Cody, Bray, Coley, Allie, Luke, Justin, CJ, Emily, Barrett, Tucker, and Lily; great great grandson, Mason; sister, Joyce Spann; and a host of nieces and nephews.Pall bearers will be Joey Smith, Seth Hannah, Chris Hindsman, Tommy Roebuck, and Benny Battles.Honorary pall bearers are Dr. H. Patel, Dr. B.J. Patel, Dr. Eta, and Dr. Just.The family will accept flowers or memorials made to Faith Worship Center, Glencoe.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 11:00 am until the hour of service.
