Ruby Lee McClure, 96, of Gadsden, died Thursday, Dec. 3, 2015 in a local health care facility.
Ruby was a native of Chattanooga, TN, and graduated from Chattanooga High School in 1937. She and her husband owned and operated Alabama City Auto Parts for many years.
She was a longtime member of Attalla First Baptist Church, where she taught a ladies S.S. class. She was also active in several civic organizations.
Ruby was a preceded in death by her parents, L.N. and Etthel Sliger; sister, Kathryn Ledford; her husband, Andrew Keith McClure; and son, Michael McClure.
She is survived by two sons, Frederick and Theodore McClure, of Alabama; grandchildren, Chassity, Mandy, and Jessica McClure, and two great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Troy (Anita) McClure, of Rock Spring, GA.
A graveside service will be held at 1 PM, Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Crestwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at Crestwood Funeral Home, 2209 E. Broad Street, Gadsden.
