Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Crestwood Funeral Home for Ruby C Cheatwood age 92, of Gadsden who died Saturday, February 11, 2017. Rev. Bill Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Mrs. Cheatwood lived a rich long life filled with love. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a faithful Christian who loved the Lord. She was a member of Glencoe First United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years Charles E Cheatwood, daughter-law, Rosemary Cheatwood, grandchildren; Amy Dempsey, Josh Shelnut, great-grandson, Noah Shelnut.

She is survived by son, Charles R Cheatwood, daughters; Lisa Bonds(Tommy), Cheri Hill (Barry), granddaughters; Wendy Jones (Phillip), Ashley Turner (Clint), Cari Chandler (Justin), grandson, John Cheatwood (Corey), seven great-grandchildren; Daniel and Erin Dempsey, Anna Loveless, Alisha Jones, Harper Lyn and Mabrey Turner, Jax Chandler.

Pallbearers will be Clint Turner, Justin Chandler, Phillip Jones, John Cheatwood.
