Funeral services will be 12 pm Monday, June 13, 2022 at Crestwood
Chapel, for Mrs Ruby Jean Bowers, age 81, of Hokes Bluff, who died
Friday, June 10, 2022. Brooks Boyd will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood
Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.
Ruby Jean will be remembered as a Christian first, and her grands and
great grands were the love of her life. She enjoyed traveling especially to
the Smoky Mountains, a big Roll Tide fan, and her cookies and cakes were
extraordinary. She was loved by all and will be dearly missed. Christmas
and family gatherings just won't be the same.
She is preceded in death by her parents Walter and Rena Murdock, sisters
Helen and Sybil, brothers Edwin, Herman, Wayne, and her mother in law
Grethel Bowers.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years Erskine Bowers, children Pam
Brown, Mike (Beth) Bowers, Bart Bowers, grandsons Jeff Hooie,
Jason(Tiffany) Bush, and Abby and Emma Bowers, great grands Zane Bush
and Zachary Bush and a large extended family.

unit.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 11 am until
the time of service
