Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday at Crestwood Chapel for Mr.Royce G. Lyles age 86 of Gadsden who died Monday November 7, 2016. Reverend Dennis Johnson will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge of services.
Mr. Lyles was owner of L&L Roofing. He was a member of The Outlaw Band. He enjoyed Alabama football, music and dancing .He enjoyed the outdoors and working in his yard.
He is survived by his wife Linda Morrison. They were together 23 years ,children Belinda(Nathan) George, Debbie(Fred) Lawton, Tim Morrison, Doug Morrison and David Elder, grandchildren Tammy(Chris) Swindall, Shane (Tracy) McGlaughn ,Royce(Rae)McGlaughn ,Dude(Tiffany) Edwards, Greg(Tammy) George,Great grandchildren Whitney(Craig) Wood, Noah Freeman, Ann Margaret Swindall and Jovie Edwards. Sisters and brothers Helen Abney, Pat(Johnny) Bowen, Linda(Norman) Burgess, Elvin Lyles and Gaither Lyles and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Dude Edwards, Graig Wood, Noah Freeman, Tim Morisson, Doug Morrison and Chris Swindall.
Honorary Pallbearers will be former employees of L&L Roofing and past members of The Outlaw Band.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 11 am until the time of service.
