Roy Glenn Rogers, age 74, of Gadsden, passed away on February 2, 2026. He was born on April 2, 1951, to Willie Bill Rogers and Margaret Ann Rogers.

Roy had a deep love for fishing, the outdoors, and especially his beloved dog, Peanut. Known for his friendly spirit, he never met a stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Rogers; his daughter, Glenda (Scott) Abernathy; his stepson, Joey Hooks; his grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Clough, Allison Abernathy, and Kyler Hooks; and his great-grandchildren, Greyson Chappell and Riggans Clough.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie "Bill" Rogers and Margaret Ann Rogers, and his sister, Sandra Minton.
