Funeral services will be at 3pm on Thursday, April 13, 2023, for Rosemary Morgan, 85, who

entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, April 11, 2023. Visitation will precede services from

1-3pm.Rosemary is preceded in death by her father Lester Edgil ,mother Alta Beatrice Edgil Morgan and brother Powell Edgil

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Tommy Morgan; sons: TC Morgan (Tena), and

Keith Morgan; grandchildren: Whitney Morgan, Katherine Bedwell (Kevin), and Jeremiah Screvin; three great-grandchildren: Jake Boatwright, John Brady and William Mack Bedwell; and special friend Penny Methvin.Rosemary graduated in 1954 from Glencoe High School and in 1957 from Holy Name of Jesus Nursing School. She worked as a registered nurse at Holy Name of Jesus, Gadsden Health Care and Gadsden Regional Medical Center. She was also the Assistant Director of Nursing at Gadsden Health Care and taught healthcare aides. She was an excellent nurse, mother, and wife for over 65 years. She joined Whorton Bend Baptist, then Meadowbrook and has been attending Church of the Highlands for the past 4 years. She was a bridge player, had many friends, was a very giving person, and a wonderful cook. She loved sweets and shared recipes with many friends and family.
