Lamar will be remembered for his love of work,flying model airplanes, Auburn football, and cars. He bought a new car every two years. He retired from Gulf States Steel as a train conductor. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all, and will be dearly missed.
Preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Gladys Pearson and sister Gail Clark.
Survived by daughter Paj Clackum, and son, Brian (Teresa) Pearson; grandchildren Drue Clackum, Austin Pearson; Lacey McKeown, Christy Mannings,great grandchildren Sophia Clackum Grayson McKeown, Caden Fitchett
