Ronald Clark "Ronnie" Blackmon, age 66, of Gadsden, Alabama, passed away on June 16, 2026.

A funeral service will be held at Crestwood Funeral Home on Monday, June 22, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Jeremy Mallett will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery.

Ronnie was the middle son of Robert Clark Blackmon and Joyce "Virginia" (Ragan) Blackmon Laird. He graduated from Southside High School in 1979 and was known for his love of classic cars, fishing, and spending time at local car shows and First Friday events in downtown Gadsden.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Virginia Blackmon, and his older brother, Steven Blackmon.

Ronnie is survived by his brother, Danny Lee Blackmon; his niece; several nephews; and numerous cousins and friends who will cherish his memory.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Homes.
