Funeral Services will beat 2pm Saturday Feb. 2, at Crestwood Chapel for Lois Cowan Rogers, age 88 Who died Wednesday January 30, 2008. Rev. Jim Holcomb will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home will Direct.
Mrs. Rogers was born in Etowah County on April 1, 1919. She worked at the Braid Mill during the War and was a housewife, mother, and a caregiver to her parents. She gave of herself to her family and friends for as long as she could. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She will be greatly missed. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ulas Rogers, her parents Edward and Annie Cowan, and her sister Lorene Horton.
Mrs. Rogers is survived by her daughter and son in law Becky and Jerry Luther; Grandsons Ken and Tracy Luther, and Michael and Nicole Luther ; Great Grandchildren Elle, Tristan, Samuel, Kate, Brennan, Thomas, and Aston Luther.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the special ladies who took such good care of Mom the last three years of her life. She loved them and they loved her one hundred times more.
Pallbearers will be her Grandsons, Great Grandsons, and Jerry Luther.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.
