Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 22nd at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home for Roger Dennis Hale, age 62, who entered into rest on November 17th. Braden Phillips will officiate and burial will take place at Young's Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday November 21st from 5 to 8pm. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home

Roger was born on August 2nd, 1960 in Los Angeles, California. At age 9, he and his family moved to Hokes Bluff, Alabama where he continued to live until his passing. In January of 1995, he met his beloved wife Frances. They had a daughter named Mindy, who went on to have 3 children. He enjoyed hunting with his friends, watching Nascar and football, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife Frances, Daughter Mindy (Braden) Phillips, Step-son James (Kim), Grandchildren Kai, Saylor, and Amelia Phillips, and Brother Curtis (Loretta) Hale, and several nephews and niece.

He is preceded in death by his mother Mary and Father Bud, Brothers Johnny, Jackie, Ricky, and Sister Darlene.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to GRIP Autocross Scholarship at 256-438-1946.

Pallbearers will be Braden Phillips, Peyton Phillips, Hunter Peek, Steve Mitchell, Randall Mitchell, and James Martin.
