Robert J. Wacholz, age 98, passed away on January 12th, 2025.Born in Detroit Michigan April 9, 1926 at St. Johns Hospital. Bob served in the Navy ,in the Philippines repairing airplanes

Bob will be remembered as a man who spoke his mind, a workaholic. He enjoyed detailing cars, especially his pride and joy 1957 Chevy, white on white convertible, landscaping, never liking to sit still. He was always considered a dog whisperer by his family, as he loved animals. Bob had many careers; first working at Chrysler, Metropolitan Insurance Company, then retiring from County of  St Clair Shores , Michigan. Bob moved to Alabama promising his beloved wife wife he would share the number of years with her here as she did with him while in Michigan. Goal happily exceeded. Predeceased in death by parents, Elsie and  Walter Wacholz, siblings Harold, Bernice and Dorris. Missed by his adoring wife of 60 years, Ann. Children,  Debra (Jerry) Gauthier, Robert J. Jr. and Steven. Grandchildren Robert J. III, Stephanie. .He leaves us with memories of a lifetime. No tears, he knew where he was going and he was at peace. Services were held January 17, 2025.
