Funeral will be at 2pm Monday at Crestwood Chapel for Robert H. Taylor, 83, of Gadsden who passed away on December 7th, 2007. The Rev. Ray Stonecypher will officiate, burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the clerical division. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama and was a attorney serving in Gadsden for several years.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Jean Bryant Taylor, Parents; Richard & Bessie Taylor, brothers; Stanley (Imogene) Taylor, Horace Tylor, and Eskol Taylor.
He is survived by stepchildren Michael (Lisa) Miller, Hokes Bluff, Leon (Kathy) Miller, Texas, Denise (Rick) Ferguson, Missouri, step grandchildren, Justin and Mitch Miller, Hokes Bluff, Bryan and Alan Ferguson, Missouri, sister in laws, Kate Taylor, Sara Taylor, Carolyn (John) Smith, Gadsden, brother in law, Jerry (Carolyn) Bryant, Hokes Bluff and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity United Methodist Church 1261 Goodyear Ave. E. Gadsden, Al 35903
