Funeral services will be 12 pm Friday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr. Robert Joe "Bob" Moon, age 95, of Gadsden who died Tuesday, August 3,2021.Reverend Fred Grady will officiate . Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home announcing.

Mr. Moon was a Godly man, and was devoted to his church, East Gadsden United Methodist. He loved fishing, and family was his all. He was a WW II Navy Veteran US Postal service retiree and will be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by wife Sarah Chandler Moon, daughter Emily Moon Egan, grandson Michael Egan and siblings Tom, James and Edith Moon.

He is survived by children Debbie(Eddie) Johnson, David(Debbie) Moon, Grandchildren Robbie(Staci) Egan, Beth(Pat) Egan Woodall, Angie(Jason) Johnson Stabler, Taylor Moon, Melissa(Seth) Moon Melisano, Phillip Moon, great grandchildren Jake and Carter Woodall, Grant, Michael and Catherime Egan and Tristan, Emily and Mackenzie Stabler.
