Funeral will be at 1pm Saturday at Crestwood Chapel for Robert "Bob" Milwee, age 80, of Gadsden, who died Tuesday February 7, 2012. Revs. Royce Head and Don Young will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct service. Mr. Milwee was a veteran having served in the U. S Air Force. He had retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He is preceded in death by his parents Rev. and Mrs. Otis Milwee and brother William Milwee.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years Violet "Vi" Milwee; children Robert "Robbie" Milwee, Jr. and his children Katherine and Jeffry Milwee; John "Gregg" Milwee (Cheryl) and their children Zachariah, Catherine, and Eleanor Milwee; and Jane E. Milwee and her children Kerrie Weems (Jason) , Alex Nelson (Diana), Patrick and Emily; great grandchildren Kelsie Nelson and Oliver Weems; sister Ann (Richard) Whitehead; brother James (Carol) Milwee; and many nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Maverick Sunday School Class at 12th Street Baptist church, O.Z. Lomnick, and Ray Clark.
The family would like to express special thanks to a special caregiver sent to us by God our angel Teresa Clark. They would also like to thanks Dr. Saythan Iyer, Dianne Gillman, Lawley Hospice, Don Williams, and MANNA.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8pm Friday evening
