Funeral services will be 1 pm Monday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mr Robert "Bob" Darnell, age 73, of Gadsden, who died Thursday August 4, 2022. Reverend J.L. Knight will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Robert will be remembered as a very good and knowledgeable construction engineer,building homes and commercial buildings.He owned and operated Premier Construction and restoration.

He did a lot of work in several states but was very well known in the Jefferson County area. He was a little hard headed,it was his way or no way. He was a loving family man and adored his grandchildren. He was loved and will be dearly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents Earl and Mildred Darnell and sister Joan.

He is survived by son Michael(Annisa) Darnell,daughters Christy Darnell and Misty(John) Keller,siblings Judy, David and Linda,12 grandchildren and 13 Great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
