Funeral services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Crestwood Chapel for Rita Brittain Smith, age 77, of Hokes Bluff, who died February 1, 2015. Brother Greg Locklear will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery with Crestwood Funeral Home in charge of services.
Mrs. Smith retired from Holy Name of Jesus Hospital with over 30 years of service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray "Red" Smith; brother, Douglas Robertson; and parents, Archie Vann and Louise Watts.
Mrs. Smith is survived by children, Amy (Steve) Holmes, Edward (Eric) Brittain, Tim (Melissa) Brittain; sister, Julia McCullars; grandchildren, Nathan Lindsey, Brandon and Adam Bowman, Laura Hughes, Haley Holmes, TJ Brittain, Ashley Elliot, Shayla Thornton, Trent Dixon; great-grandchildren, Declan Elliott, Jackson Lindsey, Sadie Jo Dixon, Leia Hughes; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Matt Stewart, Michael Hughes, Brandon Bowman, Adam Bowman, Nathan Lindsey, TJ Brittain and Tyler Elliott.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
