Ricky Eugene Patrick, 62, of Gadsden, passed away on October 9th, 2015 at Gadsden Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Ricky was a lifelong member of Central Church of Christ and Glencoe Church of Christ. He loved attending church, all services, singings, and jail ministry. He was greatly loved by all who knew him. He was a dedicated volunteer at Elliot Community Center, and enjoyed the time he spend with friends he had made while attending functions there.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, L.W. and Ludie Patrick.
He is survived by his brother, Ron Patrick; nephews, Heath (Misty) Patrick and Brandon Patrick; great-nephew, Cody Patrick; and great-nieces, Abby and Peyton Patrick.
Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Crestwood Chapel. Visitation will be from 12-3 PM. Service will be conducted by Minister David Powell. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Family requests no flowers, but donations may be made to Child Haven Children's Home, 1816 Child Haven Rd., Cullman, AL 35055 or to Zamora Shrine Hospital Transportation Fund, 3521 Ratcliff Rd., Irondale, AL 35210 in memory of Ricky.
