A graveside service will be on held Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 1:00 at Crestwood Cemetery for Richard "Wayne" Marbut, of Atlanta GA., age 77. He was born to Gordon and Ida Marbut in 1937. He was preceded in death by his Daughter, Meredith; brothers, Harold, Easel, and Ronan "Mutt".

He is survived by his daughter, Susan Marbut Watts, son, Brian Marbut and his wife Tonya; grandsons, Brandon, Tyler, Brice, Brady and Conner; sisters, Polly Ellen, Jean Burttram (Wayburn) and Joan Mordecai (George) and many nieces and nephews.

Wayne was a loving dad, grandfather, brother and uncle. He loved all of his family. He served 4 years in the United States Air Force. He was an air traffic controller for 22 years. He later obtained a degree in drug and alcohol counseling. He help others in countless ways.
