Dorough, Richard Arden "Dick"
Funeral service will be11:00 AM Thursday at Crestwood Chapel for Richard (Dick) Dorough, age 83, who died Tuesday, February 5, 2008. Rev, Bryan Vance will officiate. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Dorough was a retiree of Goodyear Tire and Rubber and was an avid member of American Blade Knife Makers Guild in which he made custom knives. He was also a member of Southside United Methodist Church. Mr. Dorough was proceeded in death by his wife Dorothy Dorough and son Mark Dorough.
He leaves behind one son, Richard Dorogh, Jr., Kathleen, GA; one daughter, Donna (Kenneth) Fry, Boaz, AL; Grandchildren Cres, Jeff (Nikki) Dorough, Justin and Jessica Dorough all of Georgia and Heather (Tony) McCormick of Boaz, AL; 5 Great Grandchildren.
