Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday January 10, 2021 at Crestwood Funeral Home for Rebecca (Beckie) Garrett, age 69, of Southside who passed away on January 5, 2021. Brother Bart Watts will officiate. Burial will follow at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.

Beckie will be remembered as a quiet, reserved woman. She loved the Lord and always put him and her church family at Edgewood Baptist Church first. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charles and Eunice Christopher and brother Danny Christopher.

Beckie is survived by her husband of 46 years Bobby Garrett, son Robert (Sarah) Garrett, grandchildren Lola, Ava, and Josh, and sister Cathy Pearson.

The family would like to issue a special thanks to the staff at Encompass Hospice, especially Brandon, and her cousin Eileen who was always there when she needed her.

Visitation will be on Sunday starting at 1:00 p.m. and last until the time of service.
