Funeral services will be at 1pm Tuesday at Crestwood Chapel for Pauline Brooks Pruitt age 85, of Gadsden who died Saturday, July 30, 2011. Dr. William Thomas Pruitt III will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. Pruitt was a longtime member of Faith Worship Center. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Pruitt; son, Jay Pruitt; father, Thomas S. Brooks; mother, Cornelia Brooks; 5 brothers, and 5 sisters.
She is survived by her son, Dr. William Thomas (Judith) Pruitt III of Pell City; grandson, William T. (Stephanie) Pruitt, IV of Pell City; granddaughter, Rebecca (Micah) Wilson of Villa Rica, GA; 5 great-grandchildren; brother, Lee (Florence) Brooks of Gadsden; sister, Carolyn Wenig of Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be her grandson and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 11 until 1 TUESDAY at the funeral home.
