On 17 July 2015, Pauline "Polly" Hill Wright, 90, went home to Heaven. Everyone who knew Polly will never forget the joy she brought to their lives. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m.Saturday, July 18 at Crestwood Chapel. The Rev. Darrell Brown will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services.
Polly retired from Goodyear after 43 years of dedicated service. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery. She loved Jesus, her family, and her friends. Her activities centered around her children and husband. Her grandchildren knew there was not a five pound bag of sugar that she did not like and delighted in the peanut butter pie or the applesauce cake she made special just for them. Her children and grandchildren always knew there was a place for them at her house. She delighted in having all her children and grandchildren around her and adored the idea of bunking up'. Polly will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Dr.Lynne Wright (Robert O'Rourke), Jacqueline Hinton (Jim Hinton), Lisa Garmany (Steve Garmany), six grandchildren (Erin Obed, Lauren LeCroy, Kayla Hinton, Jordan Stribling, Mackenzie Garmany, and Slate Garmany), and three great grandchildren (Addy and Audrey LeCroy and Hagan Jack Obed). She is also survived by her nephew, Steve Hill and several great nieces and great nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, William E. Jack' Wright and by her parents, John and Maude Hill, sister, Edna Hall, brother, Horace Hill, niece, Doris Ryan, and nephew, Edithson Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
