Pauline Carnes Allen of Shelbyville, TN formerly from Hokes Bluff, AL and the Coates Bend Area, passed away on August 21, 2022.

She was born in Cedartown, Georgia on December 17, 1937. Pauline was a graduate of Hokes Bluff High School and Gadsden State Business College. she worked at Gadsden Regional Medical Center for 40 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents,, H.A. (Popsie) and Mary (Momsie) Carnes; brother Earl Carnes; sisters in law Rita Carnes and Myra Carnes; and great niece Destany NeSmith.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter Regina Sauls, Shelbyville, TN; brother Floyd Carnes; niece Lisa Baker of Hokes Bluff; nephews Jeff Carnes of Hokes Bluff and Mark Carnes of Franklin, TN; three great nieces; two great nephews; one great great niece and two great great nephews and special cousin Bill Durnham of Spokane, Washington. She is also survived by her "grand horse" John McEnroe "Big Juicy", her dog Rover; and her horses Melody Rain, and Squigs.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1pm on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Funeral Home will direct services.
