Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 11, 2009 at Crestwood Memorial Chapel for Mr. Paul E. Hauk, age 48, of Gadsden, who died on Sunday, June 7, 2009. Pastor Johnny Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct.
Mr. Hauk was employed by Honda as a certified tool and die maker. He loved Alabama Football. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Medley Hauk; mother, Mary Hauk; father, Herbert Hauk; and brother, Leon Tennyson.
He is survived by his son, Paul W. Hauk; step-son, Andy Farmer; step-grandchild, Vanessa LaShay Farmer; brother, John (Allie) Hauk, of Anniston; sisters, Elizabeth Wilkes, of Gadsden and Sondra (Steve) Corley, of Denver, Colorodo; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Donny Wilkes, Jamie Wilkes, Michael Wilkes, Terry Wilkes, Michael Wilkes, Jr., and Donny Holt.
Special thanks to all the nurses and staff at the Kirlan Clinic and the nurses and staff of the M.I.C.U. at Gadsden Regional Medical Center.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home.
