Obituary

Funeral Service will be at 1pm on Saturday June 22, 2024 at Crestwood Chapel for Patsy Limbaugh Ward who passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from noon until the hour of service on Saturday. Marc Limbaugh will officiate. Burial will be at Crestwood Cemetery. Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home will direct services.

Patsy grew up in Alabama City and attended Emma Sansom High School. The majority of her career was in the mortgage and finace industry. She had been Vice President of Coosa Federal Savings and Loan and was  Mortgage Loan Office with AmSouth (now Regions) Bank.

She is preceded in death by her son Andrew "Andy" Jackson Farmer; parents Curtis and Marce Limbaugh; and her brother James Barry Limbaugh.

Patsy is survived by her husband Hubert L. Ward; son Lewis Patrick (Elizabeth) Farmer; grandchildren Beau Farmer and Emily Farmer; stepchildren Jacqueline Ward Bell and Hubert Dewayne Ward; sister Riki Limbaugh(James) Rager; brother Marc(Jan) Limbaugh; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

The family would like to express their appreciation to the nurses and staff of Regency Pointe Royal Haven for the excellent care they gave Patsy for over two years. Crossville Health and Rehab stepped in and continued to provide wonderful care and compassion for Patsy and her family.

Pallbearers will be Jarick Rager, Casey Rager, Lewis Farmer, Beau Farmer, Kevin Horton, B.A. Moore, Craig Moore, Glenn Williams, and Jonathan Limbaugh.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 252 Danny Thomas Drive, Memphis, TN 38105-3678.
