Patricia Ellen Morgan Massey Alexander Davidson came into the world on January 29, 1943. She passed into eternity on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. She is survived by her daughters Ellen (Sean) Whilden and Meredith (Rusty) Burger, as well as her six grandchildren – Sydney Whilden, Jake Burger, Patrick Whilden, Julia Whilden, Bailey Burger and Bennett Burger. Preceding her in death were three husbands – Jim Massey, Wyamon Alexander, and Joe Davidson, along with her parents, Ernest and Oris Morgan, and her brother Phillip Morgan.

Pat competed in archery while attending Gadsden High School, where she graduated in the Class of 1961. She and her friends could be found at Doyle’s on Broad Street drinking hot Dr. Peppers with lemon.

Pat enjoyed lots of hobbies, and her artwork has brightened the home of her friends and family for years. She always had projects planned. She loved gospel music and raised her daughters on it. The three of them could break out in three-part harmony at any moment. Pat loved the Lord and studied Scripture as long as she could read. She was an amazing cook, had an oversized sense of humor, and she loved playing around on a computer; she embraced new knowledge and technologies. She was a loyal, life-long Auburn fan, and she passed wrapped in an Auburn blanket. War Eagle!

Her family will miss her laugh and her zany antics and will remember some of the life lessons she taught them…Always take a few minutes to look for the beauty around you, that one could indeed make an orange and blue banana pudding, how to bait a hook, and that “You can do anything if you want to bad enough.”

Visitation for Patricia will be Tuesday September 29, 2026 from 10 am ~ 12 pm at Crestwood Memorial Funeral Home. Service is scheduled at 12 pm in Crestwood Chapel with burial to follow.
