Funeral services will be 2 pm Sunday, at Crestwood Chapel, for Mrs. Patricia "Trix" Comer, age 77, of Gadsden, who died Friday, July 30, 2021. Craig Stuart, Jeff Sauls and Robby Joplin will officiate. Burial will be in Crestwood Cemetery.

Mrs. Comer will be remembered as hard working, generous, loving and patient. She was a born again believer and faithful member of Macedonia Baptist Church of Coates Bend.

She loved gardening, Alabama Football, her Joy Sunday School class and family gatherings. She was a devoted wife, mother and Nana. Trix was loved by all who knew her and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Eddie Comer, who was also her sweetheart since they were 6 years old, grandson Zachary Guined and parents James and Sara McDaniel.

She is survived by daughters Annette(Jeff) Mayben, Pam(Don) Thomas, Traci(Craig) Stuart, grandchildren Emily Mayben, Tiffani(Ryan) Powell, Tammi (Daniel) Miller, Alex Mayben, Casi Stuart and Bethany Guined, great grandchildren Ryleigh, Kaysyn, Kayleigh, Jaxson, Brynli, Kayden, Maci, loving sister Debbie(Jeff) Sauls and a large extended family.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Macedonia Baptist Church food pantry. Pallbearers will be family. Special thanks to the staff of Comfort Care Hospice especially Mackenzie, Monik and Faynita.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12 pm until the time of service.
